0 Kitchener Primary School's assembly

CARDIFF West MP, Kevin Brennan, was a special guest today at Kitchener Primary School's assembly.

Mr Brennan was taken on a special tour of the school by headteacher, Mrs Evans, before talking to pupils about his role as a Member of Parliament in their school assembly.

"Kitchener Primary School is great at utilising a variety of traditional and modern teaching methods to reach out to children of all backgrounds, cultures and religions," said Mr Brennan.

"They have been very creative in using facilities such as their Forest School and allotment to educate the pupils on subjects such as the environment.

"It is great to see the teachers and their assistants so enthusiastic about the work they carry out.

"I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in their school assembly and I hope to visit again soon."
