Music legend Ian Brown talks about Kevin Brennan MP

MUSIC icon and former lead singer of The Stone Roses, Ian Brown, has spoken about his friendship with Kevin Brennan MP in a recent interview with an entertainment website.

In the interview to coincide with the release of Ian's new album 'My Way' he talks about his views on politics and a chance meeting with the Cardiff West Labour MP in 2005.

When asked by The Quietus if he would consider becoming a politician Ian Brown said, "Nah. You've got to watch your Ps and Qs.

"I've actually got a friend who's the Labour MP for Cardiff West, called Kevin Brennan.

"We met on a plane about five years ago. He's a great guy. He specialises in rights for the disabled."

In 2005 Ian Brown asked Kevin to supply a quote for his greatest hits album that would be called 'The Greatest'.

The other people asked to supply quotes for the album included Shaun Ryder of the Happy Mondays and Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream.
