CARDIFF West MP, Kevin Brennan, today visited Alcohol Concern in Riverside to talk about some of the issues regarding the misuse of alcohol.It was also an opportunity to visit their new premises in Cathedral Road and see how they are operating in Cardiff and Wales as a whole.
"It was a productive and interesting meeting about tackling the important issue of alcohol abuse," said Mr Brennan.
"The government is determined to address this problem and they are currently looking at ways to curb excessive drinking.
"Alcohol abuse is a serious issue and can cause everything from anti-social behaviour in communities to health problems for the particular individual.
"It is clearly a social problem and we all need to work together to combat this issue and make people in our communities realise the problems this causes."
